The project entails the full restoration of the University of Bucharest Palace, including extensive structural consolidation, roof and framework rehabilitation, and restoration of façades and exterior joinery.
The works also target the elimination of underground moisture sources, interior functional reconfigurations, restoration of finishes, and modernization of all existing utility systems.
An architectural lighting system will enhance the façade, and the demolition of inner courtyard annexes will make space for a new archaeological museum area, showcasing the site’s historical remains.
The building will maintain its current height configuration (Basement + Ground Floor + 2 Upper Floors + 2 Attic Levels), while exterior landscaping will complete the intervention, enhancing both heritage value and present-day functionality of the ensemble.
