Beyond a Day’s Agenda. Ghallard Team Building 2026
Every day, we come together around projects, responsibilities and shared goals. Sometimes we work from the same office; other times, different departments, cities or kilometres stand between us. And that is precisely why there is something particularly valuable about the moments when we get to truly spend time together.
On September 11, we gathered at Casa Timiș for Ghallard Team Building 2026. With 84% of our colleagues attending, this year’s edition recorded our highest participation rate to date.
A change of setting also brought a different rhythm to the day, creating more room for shared experiences, conversations and the personalities of the people behind Ghallard.
Same Colleagues, Slightly More… Unexpected Roles
The Treasure Hunt took us, team by team, through different parts of the Casa Timiș estate, with clues to uncover, challenges to solve and a few tasks none of us could have quite anticipated at the start of the day.
Among other things, we discovered just how many interpretations of the Haka are possible when each team brings its own style, how convincing a concert can be when performed on an imaginary piano outdoors, and what happens when colleagues are asked to compose their very own anthem.
And those were only a few of the challenges.
Amid the laughter came strategy, competitive spirit, attention to detail and the different roles each person naturally found within the team. Some read the clues with impressive precision, others quickly spotted the next move, while a few revealed talents that their everyday professional roles might never have brought to light.
For a few hours, job titles and departments faded into the background. Faced with the next challenge, we were simply colleagues determined to figure it out together. With complete seriousness, of course. As much as an imaginary piano would allow.
The Conversations That Rarely Make It onto the Calendar
After the energy of the Treasure Hunt, the pace of the day shifted.
The Chef’s Choice culinary experience, created by Chef Nico Lontraș, brought us together around the same table. The afternoon then unfolded at a pace that gave us time to stay in conversation, take a walk and simply enjoy one another’s company.
Perhaps this is where the meaning of the day became clearest: having time for genuine conversations, humour, stories and the relationships between people, whenever the agenda leaves enough room for them.
Casa Timiș provided the setting for a day spent together. The people of Ghallard gave it its atmosphere.
A Day Shaped by the Energy of Ghallard’s People
Every Team Building edition has its own activities, setting and memorable moments. What remains truly recognisable from one year to the next is the people.
Reflecting on this year’s edition and on what stays with us beyond the experience of a single day, Ana-Maria Coandă, Human Resources Director at Ghallard Sys, shares a personal perspective:

“I started the day with a great deal of enthusiasm and ended it feeling that I had received far more energy than I had brought with me.
I loved seeing the genuine joy with which people met one another, the way they sought each other out, and how much simply having time together and sharing the experience seemed to matter.
I strongly believe in the value of moments like these. People need opportunities to get to know one another, laugh together and create shared memories. And when all of this happens naturally, you realise that what you have in front of you is more than a group of colleagues. You have people who genuinely enjoy being together. To me, that is worth more than any activity we could have put on the day’s agenda.”
Beyond a Single Day
What remains are the photographs, the jokes that probably only those who were there will ever understand, each team’s stories and, quite possibly, an anthem that deserves a second listen someday.
More importantly, what remains is the energy of a day when people genuinely enjoyed being together.
And if there is one thing worth carrying forward from Ghallard Team Building 2026, it is exactly that energy.
