The project involves the structural consolidation, rehabilitation, and complete restoration of the roof of the Suceava Administrative Palace, which was severely damaged by a fire in 2021. The intervention includes the total demolition of the affected roof structures and their reconstruction in the original shape and dimensions, using a new metal structure, as well as the replacement of the wooden floor slab above the second floor with a reinforced concrete slab.
Structural and decorative elements of the building — including the ornamental gable and attic masonry — will be reinforced using modern concrete jacketing and rebar technologies. Existing floor slabs will be assessed, repaired, or replaced based on the degree of deterioration.
This investment aims to ensure the safety of a key public asset and to preserve its architectural value, ultimately restoring its institutional and administrative functionality.
