The project involves the construction of a student dormitory with 350 accommodation units (double rooms) within the campus of the University Politehnica of Bucharest. The building will have a height regime of Bs+G+10F and will include additional facilities such as study rooms, kitchenettes, laundries, administrative offices, a dining area, reception, and underground parking.
The structure will be made of reinforced concrete, and the building envelope will be thermally insulated with mineral wool and equipped with high-performance joinery. Balconies will span the entire width of the rooms, contributing to the dynamic of the façades. Four elevators are planned, including one for fire emergency use.
The building will be fitted with modern systems for water supply, sewage, HVAC, fire detection, video surveillance, and access control. A backup generator will provide power for essential consumers. The project also includes landscaping, pedestrian and vehicular access routes, sidewalks, and parking areas, ensuring full functionality, safety, and accessibility.
